1. Challenge Is Part of Life

Everyone faces difficult challenges at one time or another. Nobody gets through life without them, and Covid-19 is just one of the many challenges you have faced or will face in your lifetime. You will never face this challenge or your future challenges alone. The Way International reminds Christians that the “remedy in times of uncertainty is our utmost trust and reliance on God, Who is all-knowing and all-powerful.” God should be receiving your trust right now so that He may guide you.

2. You Are Not Alone

It’s easy to worry about only yourself during times of trouble, but remember you are not alone. However bad you are feeling right now, there are others out there who feel worse but don’t have the strength and faith you possess to carry them through. It is vital to remember our neighbors in times of need, and as a Christian who has been taught the importance of helping others, the time to act is now. People are coming up with creative solutions to some of the problems being faced right now. There are shortages on vital supplies, and groups of people are stepping up to fill those needs.

Contact a group at your church in which you are a member and ask about ways you can help, or suggest an idea you have and invite people to join you. If you have children, get them involved. 3. Make Prayer a Habit

4. Share His Word

There are always lost sheep who are eager to hear His word. The best way to share His word is through compassion. If someone is struggling, lend them an ear, and after you’ve respectfully listened to everything they have to say, let that person know how God is helping you get through this difficult time. If you don’t know what to say, that’s okay. Open yourself up and let God use you, just as he did Paul. Paul was rough around the edges, yet he brought faith to many.

An important part of sharing His word is believing it yourself. If you don’t act the way people have been taught Christians should act, why would anyone believe they should listen to you? It’s never too late to start walking the talk.

5. Remain Connected

Even though everyone is practicing social distancing, that does not mean it’s time to cut yourself off from your family and your church. If your church is televising services, tune in. If they aren’t, many are. Find one that works best for you. Christians bring strength in their numbers, and you are a part of that number. Your church needs you just as you need them.

Even if you can’t see them in person, check on your friends and family regularly. Chances are they’re struggling, too. Human contact is comforting during Covid-19, even if it’s only by phone or email.
