New India-Inspired Summer Styles at Tea Collection
It’s Summer 2015! And like every year, new fashion trends for summer is here! This May, we are excited to announce that new India-inspired summer styles have arrived at Tea Collection! Tea has a mantra: “We Go There.” Their designers literally go out into the world to discover the beauty that inspires each of their clothing collections for little citizens. Usually, Tea’s team only travels to each destination once, but this season, Tea co-founder, Emily and her family made a second trip back to India for a very special catalog shoot that embraces “going there” in a whole new way…with their children!
To capture their incredible experience, including the reality of traveling with little ones to a far away place, they brought along Japanese photographer, Hideaki Hamada. Hamada captured beautiful pictures while Emily’s family explored in and around Jaipur and at The Farm, a beautiful bohemian hotel 30 minutes west of Jaipur run by amazing proprietors, Ritu and Surya and their 8-year-old son, Vihaan.
During their trip, Emily, her husband Hilton, and their children, Clement (age 6) and Georgia (age 4) painted elephants, printed with woodblocks at the Anokhi Museum of Hand Printing, discovered the magic of Indian temples, and created beautiful friends and lasting memories. These experiences, and many more, will be shared with Tea’s community during the month of May – we can’t wait for you to see!

Giving Back
Since January, Tea has been collecting donations for Gram Bharati Samiti, a Global Fund for Children’s grantee partner in Jaipur that educates and empowers women and girls. After experiencing their work first-hand, Tea has committed to take their support a step further during the month of May by donating a portion of profits from this new summer styles collection.
